Auping was founded by Johannes Auping, who started designing and producing ‘hygienic’ beds on a small scale in Deventer, Netherlands, for more than a century ago now. During the early fifties, this industrial beauty, the Auping “Arielle” was developed by famous Dutch industrial designer Wim Rietveld. Very attractive and rare first edition with black metal ‘Eiffel’ wiring frame and legs.
